Little Roos tutoring program puts smiles on students’ faces

This year Rose Hill Elementary is focusing on math. To help students’ perceptions of math and their academic achievement in the area, the school partnered with Lake Washington High School students to create an after-school tutoring program. The high school students meet with third and fourth graders every Wednesday for an hour. They play math-centered games and help support math lessons that are taught in the classroom.
