Information on activities available during school.
Rose Hill Elementary offers students these programs during the school day.
This program is for students K-5. It pairs an adult volunteer with a student for one hour per week during the lunch and recess time. The Lunch Buddy Program also brings another caring person into the life of a child and offers children the opportunity to have adult friends.
Reading with Rover
Reading with Rover is a canine-assisted, pro-literacy program that helps kids discover the joy of reading. This wonderful program works on the simple premise that a child is far more likely to want to read when they know that their audience is unconditionally loving and non-judgmental. Every Tuesday, the Rose Hill 2nd grade kids are treated to a reading-filled, tail-wagging good time! Rose Hill Elementary is honored and doggone proud to be a “Reading with Rover” school in the Lake Washington School District! The contact for this program, is Brian Daly firstname.lastname@example.org.
